There have been more golden points in the first 9 rounds this year and one point wins than I recall coming from an entire season. Is it a good thing or bad? It does make games more exciting. Shows how even the comp is becoming.
Thoughts on golden point?

I don't think there was a stoppage on that one, so they would not have been able to use a challenge anyway.
Never really liked the golden point. It's unfair for the team who loses considering they've competed with the eventual winner for 80 minutes and leave with nothing. Should go back to the 1 point to each side after 80 minutes or at worst a golden try
Closest comp in history. Anyone can beat anyone if things fall into place. Luck, just pure luck wins it this year.
Sourhs look the goods this year.
Agree. I think they're the team to beat for the premiership. At this stage it looks like a South's vs Roosters grand final
I don't mind golden point, however, I feel the losing team deserves something. To allow this, I'd like to see each match be worth 3 points instead of 2.
If the match goes to golden point the winner would get 2 points allowing the loser to be awarded 1 point.
What about if its a draw ?
Sorry should of added that you play until someone wins
There's nothing wrong with a draw; teams have plenty of time to win a game. It's all for tv. And it's not policed the same and never has been.
Mitchy, its not for tv mate, golden point was brought in because there had to be a winner in finals games. What are they supposed to do in a finals game, replay the match if its a draw ??
Mate the current Golden point situation is perfect . It also simulates a finals match which is perfect because there shouldn't be a great discrepancy between a normal game and a finals match
