Xmas Comes Early For The True Believers

By special delivery on this Saturday, I received my Xmas package from the Parramatta Leagues and Football club. This, of course, only for the true believers who have paid their money for the membership. In my case, it is also for membership exceeding ten years. I received a gold coin commemorating that, among other goodies. All in all, the best from the club in all those years. I have also paid money for reserving a seat in the new stadium, as I have done for many past years in the 'old stadium' . I received some correspondence alluding to that fact. I wonder if all those baying about positives etc are actual members of the Parramatta Eels, paid-up members that is, and are thus contributing to club in a meaningful way?  It is usually the case that those who scream most contribute nothing to the club they claim to love. How many of you have reserved seats in the new stadium? That costs real money this time around, so I assume you will find other things to do than go and watch your great and beloved Eel in 2018. For those who did not get a Xmas pack from the Eels this year, you will think it right and proper that I was justly rewarded with mine.

"V'lanys' position is becoming untenable. What poor leadership he has shown through this matter. The only thing on his mind is a big dollar sign, with the clubs and fans nowhere to be seen."

"That won't stand up in court, and everyone know's it's just a PR exercise, so they can play that game if they want to. No one is buying it."
