Wright in doubt

Broderick Wright suffered a knee injury in Parramatta's clash against the Warriors and is currently in doubt for this week's game against the Tigers. The full-extent of the injury is not yet known. Wright's injury may open up the door for Feleti Mateo to return to the side. If Wright isn't right for the weekend, Anderson will have the option of bringing Mateo in the side or retaining Jeremy Latimore, who came into the side against the Warriors and produced a strong contribution making over 100 metres from his 12 hitups. Tim Mannah who only played 18 minutes in the match is fit and available, an Eels spokesperson confirmed.

  • Time to bring Mateo in on the bench. We have sufficient props. Can't wait.
  • Yeww, i think mateo is a certainty then :)
  • Anyone got a clue why Timmy only played 18 minutes - if hes not injured??
  • BRING IN MATEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
he loves playing against the tigers
  • we shoulnt need an injury to bring him back just get him in there.
    • I m with you, doesn't matter what it is he should be in. Mateo is one player who can win a game by his own.
  • mateo is the only other player that can pull of freakish "hayne like" plays. get him in there ando!! we will run rings around the tigers
  • if mateo isnt selcted i will seriously question ando's coaching capabilities.
    • Why? Cause he believes that the team who have won 5 games in a row can win another?
      • no, because it wont be the same team, because of injuries and if mateo isnt picked it means he is obviousley out of favour and mateo is one of our best players.

btw i shouldnt of said SERIOUSLY question his coaching abilities, i still rate him as arguebly the best coach in the world

"I think they've realised Sexton isn't going to command much on the open market. They have Hayward and Woods in their system, so perhaps they're seeing how more of the year plays out and if any halves hit the market that they feel would suit them.

"There's two mindsets where people allow themselves to get taken advantage of, when they are desperate and when they are fearful. So long as we as a club don't allow that to happen we will be fine."

Eli Stephens replied to Cʜɪᴇғy Mclovin's discussion Lachlan Galvin all but done at Parramatta.
"Look on the bright side, Galvin to the dogs will basically ruin the rest of their season. Based on last night performance it's already taken a toll on the team and has disrupted their squad lol "
