Another eight Queensland players have been banned from this year`s SOO. This is good work by Queensland. It seemed the players were to get off because they are Bronco players. Perhaps behind the scenes the NRL demanded action showing something is being done since the M Pearce outrage. Whatever ,it is good news that RugbyLeague is acting.
The CEO from the Storm should get a pat on the back also. He wanted to know why his player was banned and the others not so.
Good work Queensland.

Mal Meninga = “I’m very thankful that the quality of player in the Queensland side puts the game first. They understand their responsibilities and they don’t jeopardise their positions or the opportunity to be selected in the Queensland side.
“That’s what makes me extremely happy. This group of young men want to play for Queensland and part of that responsibility is setting the right example. I’m proud of who we’ve got in our team and that’s why they get selected all the time.”
Hamish Hot Fist: Yes , hypocrisy has been the name of the game up there and here in NSW also. M M is no longer with the SOO set up which might explain why action was taken against the eight, albeit delayed.
Pearce is Daley's no 1 pick. There is nothing Pearce can do that will make him unavailable for Daley's origin squad.
Yes, the delay is criminal. I believe that is why he was turfed out of the country, give time for it to die down and then minimal penalty.
Brett Allen : You know the landscape up there better than I. I thought a little praise might go a long way next time.
I think they acted because they knew none of the Bronco players would be suspended from the start of 2016 competition . I agree if the stars were involved it would have been a different story.
