So Wests are desperate for a Halfback, Doueihi out for the year, Brooks is rubbish, Wakeham not much better. They are now after Josh Schuster and Junior Amone, both five-eighths. I was thinking, it will not happen but if you were O'Neill or BA and were given the chance to allow Jake Arthur to be loaned to Wests to be their 7 for the rest of this year would you allow it and would it be beneficial? Honestly the best development for him is to play and keep playing 80 mins, but even better playing 80 mins every week in the NRL. If i was Parramatta i would bring it up to Wests, of course there will be stipulations that if we want to recall him we can if we have to, so either way we win as JA gets much needed NRL development.
Even then we could get Laurie for the year if we really want him.

I think it's a good idea but no for Laurie.
It would need to be for someone who will fill a need for us like a centre or winger.
Laurie doesn't fill a need for us.
I was only using Laurie as an example BEM, as i do not like the Laurie link at all. Though i doubt Wests let any of their backs go that are worthwhile, unless it's Nofoaluma.
Don't get me wrong. It's not that I don't like Laurie but we are desperate for a centre and a winger and he is neither.
Oh i 100% agree with you. I do not want a Laurie or Campbell type for 1 or 14. Purely due to desperately needing a Centre. We need just a basic Centre, someone who is first grade standard at least.
I would just lend them JA. No need for a swap. It would be good for JA and the club in the long run
That's not the worst idea I've heard.
is this even possible now that covid protocols are gone. "lending out a player, but can be recalled at any time".
I am not even sure, the Warriors had Jesse Arthurs last year but that was due to their squad being low with players going back home.
Good question, i dont have kids but yes, id probably trade one for an upgrade if they were little kunts.
Lets face it, plenty would.
