Would you re-sign Joel Reddy?

Just to pick up on some comments made by Tony... Will the Eels re-sign Joel Reddy?

For me, it's an emphatic yes. He's a good value player, who can always be relied upon and he's equally adept centre or wing. Was good enough to play for City last year before the side turned it up, and all this despite not having an inside man who lets him play to his strengths which is his line-running.

He's also Blue and Gold through and through.

If he isn't re-signed, will politics have anything to do it?

  • Yep

Would prefer to see him on the wing tho.

  • not sure if he has the skills in attack

but then again you did say that the eels never play to his strenghts

MAybe he needs to get more involved himself.

  • He is massively under-rated for sure.
  • Keep him, definitely. Has a good work rate, and never stops trying.
  • Yes!

A good quality honest first grade footballer.

What politics are you suggesting Phil?

  • Do you want the simple answer, or the long-winded answer?

Let's go with the simple answer for now.
Hell to the freaking yes! x10000000.
  • How many different languages can I say yes in?

Joel is such an underrated player in our team. He is dependable, experienced and always tries his best for our team.

I especially notice his absence when he is not there - and as you said Phil, Parra through and through.

I will be really disappointed if he does not re-sign!

  • Also morgan was prefered to Reddy by SK at the begining of the year,

    An early indication ???

  • yes only for no more than 160k
  • Well, his old man was very much a part of the DA camp and would seem perhaps to be on the outer given the appointment of Peter Nolan.

"I think he will be on bench, maybe Wing but doubt it. Get him on the field around 50th minute with a tired Manly pack, who are big. Walker is a Utility, but also he can be seen as a middle. 3 forwards and Papali'i is still a steady bench, that is…"

"Or Walker is seen as a forward. So have Walker, Moretti and Mataele as middles. Papali'i as utility. Hopgood can up his minutes playing Prop."

"Ok? He is still signed til 2026. So unless we wait til 2027 we ain't going for Smith. Roosters wouldn't let him go to us early with how Ryles left the joint. Politis is petty."
