Pauli's been offered big money by rival clubs. The rumor is that the Tigers are most likely to snare him (I blame Brett Kimmorley for this; he drooled all over him watching him in the U20s). I have no idea how much money has been tabled. If Pauli wants to go to the highest bidder, should we come in over all of them? I reckon Pauli would stay if we matched any offer, but it would probably be more than what he's worth. Today he showed what he can do. He will get better. We have repeatedly said that we won't be pressured into paying more than what players are worth. Should Pauli be an exception? Should we pay overs? What if we have to pay 300-400K a season?

I agree lets give an unproven player 400k. Pretty much lets pay him overs like we did with untapped juniors such as Loko, Morgan and Horo and watch us struggle to compete for years to come. Brilliant idea.
By the way, he will re-sign for half of that per year on a two year deal.
No as he has still a lot of areas to improve on and some players never improve but I would keep him for his market value as he is a talented junior.
If we lose him, that will do me. He is / will be the best forward parra has produced since Hindmarsh. I will even go on to say if he keeps right between the ears he may even become the best.
It's hard to gauge as Arthur dropped him so we don't really know what we got. If clubs are already after him then Arthur should put him on for the ROS so we what he's worth. He has huge upside.
Love him atm, but no. Not yet, he needs to prove himself in first grade ona regular and sustained basis
