    • At Suncorp and they were full strength and we had no Iongi.

  • Seriously, its the off season; like and I agree with EA; but Matto makes the top 13, and is starting. The Brocnos have lacked some toughness and personally not a fan pf a few of the stars but glad the game was good to watch and glad for Madge.

They still have a team of personalities and put it together for a month or so; lets see how they do over the next few years as tbh they could go back to back but Reynolds / Hunt are a concern as per their age.

Walsh was drooled over as per media but for me Carrigan / Haas were the stars - they led the way and Hunt and Reynolds steered them around.

    • I think Storm lost that game rather than Broncos winning it. Some of those tries conceeded were very soft. They also tried scoring off every play in the second half which led to errors. They bombed a try as well. Storm panicked every time Walsh touched the ball

      • The soft tries went both ways EA

I have become a believer if you can hold Storm and keep them in your sights, its the way to beat them. They start making errors when the pressure comes on. My calls last night was that Storm have to start making mistakes for Broncs to get back in.....sure enough the error/s  came the possesion switched and the momentum changed.

We won our game against many of our last half a dozen wins using those same tactics, Roosters being a spectacular version of the tactic and they had no answers.

Sides that like to be free running don't like being tied down and held.....Randolph will tell you "domination" is a wonderful thing......that's how I own Randolph!

        • Domination

          • Mum, look what I caught " a domwoofer"  I didn't leave that little man out fishing for "tiddlers" my son!

      • I think other way EA. Brisbane switched on once Mam came on, benefited from fatigue and could not keep up. Melbourne weren't too bad considering the amount of ball Brisbane had in 2nd half Brisbane could have put on 2-3 more tries.

But Brisbane dominated the second half. Hughes and Meaney tries were soft themselves for Melbourne. Defence was not the winner in the GF. The Walsh try, Loiero's attempt, being an Origin player, was quite pathetic. No attempt to wrap just arm grabbed. Wishart came from other end to finally make a tackle but Walsh was already over.

  • Tough one....I think Moses Lomaz and JAC maybe Randy.  They have been perenial under achievers the broncos they have an Origin side they finally got one

    • Yeah greg, I reckon i agree

      • Not exactly batting a 1000 randolph....paying PG to come in and support is not really heavy hitting, you probably need a Wiz in there to give you a bit of Hyperbole...... looking pretty scratchy at the moment.....how do you go fcuking yourself?
