What do people think? This would be a true test for him to turn this club into a powerhouse. I know he left the Knights in a mess but look at what he was able to achieve with the dragons. 3 year contract. BA as his assistant.

Interesting comments. A coach uses the matter between his ears to coach & fans instinctively reject one of the best coaches in the game accredited with multi premiership credentials because he will soon be 70.
Yep makes sense, lets replace a struggling rookie FG coach with an also ran or another rookie FG coach, then continue to whinge about the era & culture of failure.

Another point on Bennett - he made the call on the careers of a number of great players believing (rightly or wrongly) they are past their best e.g. Wally Lewis. He's just finding out now what it feels to be like on the other side of that conversation. What goes around, comes around.
