Who is the worst NRL commentator, and why? I nominate Cooper Cronk, who in Cowboys and Manly games has spoken as if the Eels were not playing and his job is to coach the opposition to victory from the commentator box.

Question Chiefy and talking of revelance, can you explain why you are constantly calling on sackings, players, officials, hangers on etc but after statements like Daz has put up there......how do you feel?

Worst is almost all of them across fox and Nien..
Jake Duke is probably the least annoying play by play commentator at the moment and doesnt try to sensationalize everything like most do especailly Vossy..
Then you have the "experts" who show their bias... The best as mentioned by others would by Keary and Johnson. even Fozzball was doing a good job on fox before he was stolen by those grubs...
Y2Eel, what do you not like about sensationalism? Which I agree Voss utilizes. I might tend to overlook sensationalism because, after all, the commentators are meant to be a kind of marketing for the play?
I just want play by play calling thats its Vossy starts rambling on about the dumbest shit when he is calling and doesn't do the simple thing.. Leave tbe sensational crap for 360..

Cooper Cronk has obviously lost it.....at different stages/ ages I thought he wanted to "boof" Mitch Moses and yesterday Tim Walsh and at other times, whoever was the halfback will need to win this game for whatever club was behind.
But you are right his coaching from the box has become more than overbearing.
I do not know his wife but my guess is that she tapes his mouth when they make love....cancels half her pleasure but he could talk under water, so why not the sheets.
