  • Just got to deceive defence with sum cross kicks to flying French man if u can’t get threw them then try sum chips n chases or something lol don’t worry to much on attack it’s defen that wins games
  • I saw them today in the paper.

FFS 44 for and 134 against.

We need to just throw that pigskin around and throw caution to the wind - play some god damn footy and who knows what may happen. 09 all over again just maybe......

  • Need Chrissy Sandow with ‘ad lib’ footy! Brad Arthur is too cautious to try think outside the box! Which may well be his undoing.

    • There's a thought Monto.Send up the Bat-signal for Sandow.I'm sure he is cheap.

    • Probably had more man of the match performances than normans had lol.
  • We are 0 from 5. We have played piss poor yet 3 times we have matched the opposition in tries scored despite our handling and lack of options in attack. The last 2 years we haven't scored many points either and defended our way to top 8 and top 4 on the ladder (before cap scandal loss of points).
Although the manly game took us back to the years where parra sides seemed to give up and conceed huge losses we have shown improvement over the last 2 weeks.
And as the tigers have proven this year you don't need to score heap of points to be successful so issues with our attack many have continued to point out doesn't mean we cant turn season around with couple wins in a row.

It is going be hard to break out of the losing habit now as players are second guessing everything they do but just as losses have dropped teams confidence and resulted in string of losses, when we finally jag a win and play with confidence we could go on a quick streak of few games.
Guthos return may help start this by giving others belief we can win again.
Although gutho is unlikely to be the game winner himself in his first couple weeks back his return could help give others confidence or belief to pull off big play needed to win game. We have missed this confidence which has affected how we as a team attack due to the players hesitation or confidence in other players.
It makes this game vital and we need a win. If gutho returns and we lose again confidence will take further battering and could be a while before we have a win.

  • Possession is king!!!!
