Woman of League Round ticket offer

Hi All,

Long time follower, very seldom poster....

Having just purchased tickets to watch the Eels play the Titans this Friday at CBUS, thought I'd let other SE QLD'ers know that there is an offer of 2-4-1 tickets to the game in honour of Women in League.

40 metre line tickets for my young bloke and myself for $53.00 all in.  Might be the cheapest tickets to an Eels game for the year.... (Vs Bronco's @ Suncorp 40 metre line tickets - $99.00 / adult).

Hoping its a cracking game for the Blue and Gold, and a good start to the finals campaign.3425081721?profile=RESIZE_710x

  • Serious I brought tickets last week trying to get decent seats on Ticketek website is a night mare. I had to sit in the unlicensed area so no drinking that’s fine but I got row one but it’s on the 20 meter line and that cost me $100 for the 2 tickets

  • And that's why no one goes.

    Those prices are ridiculous.

Stay home watch all games for $25 bucks

  • They should be giving us free tickets to put up with women in league...

      • In this case, my teenage son.

        Apogies for not being clearer.

      • Your son

      • Seriously Frankie, if the highlight of your day is correcting diction and grammer in posts on an online blog site, then you really need to get out more.

Many thanks for adding absolutely no value to the original post whatsoever.

          • Frankie I sometimes need an update in Aussie English as well because I too am guilty of saying similar to “ my young bloke” ( my son ) even though he is an adult . An Aussie expression likely influenced by mates ( peers ) language ( lingo ) .

  • Probably the only way they could get anyone to turn up . Women in league round is the biggest crock of shit and should be flushed along with the Indigenous round , and all the other bullshit rounds they’ve introduced.

    • I disagree with you on this one Wiz. When it was first introduced the Women in League round was held to celebrate the huge number of women who volunteer in local clubs around the country.

Without those volunteer women most clubs couldn’t function.

      • Won’t be long , I would almost bet my bum hole on it that we have some kind of pride round next year .
