Wins are around the corner

Wins are just around the corner,
Just think, Penny are coming 3rd, if Parra had French, Hayne, and Gutho available, The Eels win that game.

If we can maintain that level of effort each week then things should fall into place nicely when Gutho Hayne and French return.

Kenny Edwards had some really aggressive runs which was good to see, i was about to rite him off if i didnt see value in him last week.

Issues:
1. We still obviously desperately need a couple of young rams up front
2. Need to start offloading the ball, need more support runners and second phase play
3. Need Gutho Hayne and French back out there
4. Need to hold the ball more. too much dropped ball.

We are getting there. As long as the effort level is there like it was last week, we arent far off.

(P.S Moreoa and Alvaro have gotta go to make room for a solid prop)

  • Yo had me until that very last line. I don't agree with that. We need players like Alvaro and Tep to do what they do best. If they can both develop an offload they can be dangerous.
I agree with the rest of your comments though. We are getting there slowly.
  • The corner maybe part of the ‘Long and winding Road’ Crypto!

  • I just went around the corner to see if the wins were there , and you’re right , there was two kids scoring .

  • Agree with moreoa alvaro has a lot of work to do like getting a step in his game and stopping at the line defends ok but that's it.
    • Raiders will be distracted by Wighton incident so they’re ripe for plucking.  Lost Williams too so halves reshuffle again

  • I think all our forwards are good players, place them in any team and they will fire. If Joseph Paulo can still be playing first grade & making a impact, our forwards are ok. Do we have the right combination the answer no. We needed an aggressive prop, mad like a cut snake, we missed out on I think two. James Graham & Russell Packer, they lead & never give up. This over the hill mentality we have where we think a player to old is rubbish. How has our young guys gone for us?

The Roosters always target good young players, Angus Crichton comes to mind. Adam Blair has been outstanding, he yelling & screaming and the Warriors forwards a responding. Jacob Lillyman, Guerra, Heighington all leading the way for the Knights. These players hold the key for their respective clubs, these players will make or beak a coach. When some of these teams where struggling, were their coaches under the pump?

Halves & backs can't play football with no space, forwards can make your whole team including your coach look like crap. For us it's a road to get confidence back & a winning mentality, with the right attitude we can do it.
  • Manu needs to be dropped or bench. Late in the game he did a dumb hospital pass to Hoffman where if he stepped back inside he would of had one to beat and should of scored. All the players ran at Hoffman. Bit disappointed in manu looks smaller amd less effective would be better in the centres. Beau Scott to start. He may be old but still one of our best. 11 was his number until he came to parra
    • I agree about Scott.
