  • I actually agree. I think the adage that you don’t pay for wingers is old school. Vunavalu for instance turns entire games. Just like Semi did. I’d take Hayne back on our wing. He’s provide value out there.
    • Look at every centre/winger partnership I guarantee you 9/10 times the winger a the better player
    • Hayne is a fullback
  • They are becoming very vital to every team. They start your set they finish your sets and they relieve pressure. Good teams with great wingers are miles ahead.
  • Point of the blog being why not buy hayne and put him on the wing .
    • because he's wasted there, he needs to play centre

    • wasted ? Was semi wasted on the wing ? Hayne won brad fittler medal in origin of the wing
    • Semi wasn't wasted there because he is a winger you idiot. JH isn't a winger, yes he can play there but that's not how you get the best out of him end of convo.
    • Hayne to prop!

Is he a better winger than our current options, providing we have a full fit Guth, French, etc? Is he worth the extra cap money?

I'm not sure if he would be a better centre than Taka next year, but I wouldn't pay him big money to play there if he was.

We have a team that came 4th that had a number of injuries along the way. Realistically what do you change apart from somebody taking Semi's vacant spot? Then we will also have a fit Gutherson and French at some stage.

Somebody is going to have to be in Wenty, we can't field everybody.
