Seriously, I know it's a shoulder charge but two weeks for that is just an absolute joke. Sometimes to protect yourself you need to fold your arms. It wasn't even a hard hit.
The NRL talks about coming in to oversee clubs who are struggling; Well who can come and review them. Seriously, the players have a union, the refs have a union, maybe it's time the fans had a union so we can stop these ridiculous office administrators from ruining the game.

The new interpretation is it will be charged if the player uses force. Simple physics tells us that Force = Mass x Acceleration. So as long a player is moving forward and shoulder charges a player they will be charged by the MRC. I'm not complaining, Mason has been playing well for the past few weeks and he'll be out for our game.
Mason's made more metres (587) in his past 5 games than he did for the 7 previous 7 (505). He was definitely leading their pack in attack and defence, happy he isn't playing.
i honestly think the hit Jared Waerea Hargraves done on gidley was way worse than Masons. Gidley was put in a much worse position from a guy twice his size running at speed, Jared only attempted to tackle after he hit Gidley. instead Jared gets praised for great work. what a stupid rule
The only reason Shillo was sent off last night was because there was 23 seconds to go and it didn't affect the outcome of the match. If there had been 30 minutes to go and the scores the way they were they wouldn't have done anything. It was done to make the refs look big and tough.
Now if that was, say Paulo, he would've copped six weeks for that, samer with the shoulder charge, he would've got 8 weeks but nooooooooo the players weren't Eels so they got a smack on the bum and told to behave...
wot dufuq......... I was really looking forward to watching Mason play in his next two games. I'm not being sarcastic. I even had a thing I was going to try and have him sign. So disappointed by the match review committee....
