With king suffering injury I looking forward to see Smith in hooking role for rest of match and maybe beyond.  Smith has a chance prove he worthy of starting spot.  He has mainly been used as a utility a bit like Blake Austin was before he had break out season for raiders when given regular start.  Smith will only improve once he get opportunity to lock down position as he showed last year and if parra improve in 2nd half would like see him start in hooking role next week.

Parra only started get momentum and look good last year after injuries and mid season changes so although playing disgracefully I see light at end of tunnel.  As injuries affect other sides we have depth and players ready step up.

I also think that the heat we have played in can't be dismissed with our high error count and poor decision making.  Once we get few night games and season progresses we will improve, not to mention king gutho be back soon.

  • The last play of the last half- smith has the ball tryng to create with a bit of broken play, everyone else heads down already walking to the sheds. Disgusting
  • He’s a great player should of always been on over king. King had a kicking game from dummy half that we now never see.
  • No but king awful will bring kaysa the man back just for the boys
  • Here is his chance. French, Manu, Moeroa and Mannah bagging to continue followed by a lot of silence. Probably starting after half time.

"Same, Kurupt. Whatever the outcome, Jim, Beach, Ryles and the club stood united and stood their ground when they were meant to roll over for the Storm and PLV, discreetly. Moses SC has also been brilliant."
