Smith is woeful but can’t pin this on one player. Salmon’s not,our saviour.
Every team in the league knows this about Manu.. the commentators and some fans fixate on his hard running. He legit puts all his effort into that and next to none into his defence.

Will Smith has cost us a few games or has been poor since joining in 2017.
I remember in the 2017 elimination final he went from hero to villain. He scored a try in the first half but then in the second half let that bomb bounce which he grabbed but then Asiata stole off him and scored, we never recovered.
Last year we were up 18-6 v St George when we were last and they were first. He attempted a 40/20 kick which went 10 metres and then threw a forward pass which lead to two tries.
He has played poorly in a few other games but those are the ones which stand out.
