No, not in the top 17, but what a great utility back up if there are injuries or rep duties.
Smith has exceeded expectations, and is reportedly one of the best in the weights room @ Parramatta

A couple of tries he scored last year when he got the ball close to the line and pushed his way thru the defence to score. Very strong. He has a lot to offer. I don't see him in the top 17 though.
Smart footballer, depending if BA has a utility on the bench or 4 forwards. If he has a utility Smith gets it as provides cover from 1 to 7 and 9 other wise will not make the 17 unless injuries or suspension or other reasons a player is out.
Carlo, I was impressed with him last year as he could fill in at all 4 spine positions. As the coach is looking for more size in our forwards he may miss out if we go with 4 large forwards on the bench with Edwards covering for hooker or 5/8.
Carlo, being a Newcastle gal you must be going to the Parra trial match at Maitland next month?
"I can live with it and I don't think Pezet will be a lemon. The only thing that'll hold him back is injury.I have a sneaking suspicion he'll go well and the only real concern I have is the rinse wash repeat cycle we have going in 27 around the…"
"A family friend played against him in a touch footy competition. His coach mentioned Brett Kenny, a local kid that has been signed by Parramatta is playing against them and to watch him, family friend say "oh please, I worry about myself they have…"
"Kurupt…there’s a great article in the magazine below about the Eels and Rabbits getting down and dirty. Final score 31-20, however, I won’t spoil who dominated who."

I think Brads a big fan and Wills earned it.
He was pretty much faultless when called upon last year, was very impressed, i think he will get some time this year probably through injury.
He wont be in the run on team to start the season but who knows whats going to happen injury wise.
When ever hes called upon ive confidence in him to get the job done.

I think he’ll be the bench utility.

I’d say he would be on the bench but nevertheless he needs to be in the 17.
He won't be in the starting squad unless we have injuries. He could be regularly used as a utility no.14, as he can play all four (4) spine positions.
He is a good chance to be on the bench for round 1 if Gutherson is unavailable as a back up fullback/hooker.
Love fresh prince !!! Great utility , totally deserves it !!
go will , love your work !!
