Will kaysa stay at 9

With de guis on the injuried list, kaysa is getting the gig. Any thoughts on how it will play out when issac is fit and available for selection?

  • KP isnt a 80 minute player and i dont think he ever will be, IDG would take his place id guess.

    • Big call Snakey especially the last part.  The way the game is played these days and I suspect this year things will be no different except perhaps faster and more torrid. A big call by BA in his selection but I would think he saw more in Kaysa during the trials in his game that he saw in King.

Each year the games a bit faster and torrid, and so far IDG has been up to it, however BA had been replacing him towards the end of the 2nd half with Kaysa getting a bit more match time each week with one exception. My feeling is that IDG may not at his age be able to go for as long as the season wares on.  If that is the case he's likely to play the same amount of game time projected for Kaysa, with Brown likely to give the 9 a spell for 10-20 minutes, if that was to happen at the half time break the 9 would have a good spell to finish the game pretty fresh.

On that score I would believe that Kaysa is the better option owing to his line speed and DH runs when compared to IDG.  Interesting times ahead.

  • I guess a good headache to have for the coach. Esp with king also named on extended bench.
    • It would be a good headache if any of them were quality, its still a bad headache for BA imo.

  • De gois is weighing up an offfer to play in English super league for this year and next year. David Gower, feleti mateo are also in the sights of Geoff Toovey. Bradford bulls have made enquiries about these players. I heard this today from a manly sponsor. Not sure how tr true this is. Has anyone heard this as well?????
    • De gois Weighting up going to the super league have anything to do with segeyaro to parra as a straight swap does anyone know .
  • I hope I'm proven wrong and kaysa has a blinder but going by what I've seen IDG is the best all rounder out of the three.
Kaysa definitely try's hard and his service out of dummy half has improved but he just doesn't win the wrestle/ slows the play the ball down enough which puts us on the back foot/ limits our structured defence.
    • If you watch his technique for a man his size is impressive defensive control isn't bad, it's been the ability to be able to give good ball to halves and quality decision making with the ball in hand has the potential
    • Kaysa is 3 cm shorter than IDG and 2 kg heavier. Is very fit and fast.

  • Bug ive never seen KP play a blinder in 1st grade at hooker, hes a gutsy little bloke with a big heart but im not sure hes cut out for a regular starting spot.
