Will Jarryd play at six this week?

So my prediction is that Jacob Loko will start on the bench this week. I'm assuming he's come into the side for McGuire. If thats the case I doubt Kearney will throw him to the lions, and I personally think that starting him on the bench would be the best to handle it. From there I see two options. One is the situation I described on Tuesday with Robson (or Mortimer) dropping into hooker, and Hayne shifting up to six. Burt goes back to fullback and Loko will come in on the wing. I personally think that's what will happen. The other option is that Ben Smith moves up into the forwards mid-way through the match (note we do have three props on the bench) and Loko comes into the centres. If we get option one, it will be all my dreams come true. Loko to the wing, Hayne to six, Burty back to fullback - if that was the case, we'd be getting pretty close to what I personally think is the club's best side.

You have really put some thought into this.... I like it, and think it would throw off the Storms game plan when it comes to targeting certain players in the position they normally play....

Im a big fan of moving Hayne into the number six jersey, It would get him much more involved in our attacking plays.

He just isnt making the same impact returning the ball from fullback as he has done in the last two years. (The other teams have obviously done their homework on him and are always targeting him in numbers)

Burt is as safe as houses and would do a great job as our fullback and also add another dimension to our attacking plays rather than just sitting on the wing hoping for the ball to come to him.

On the other hand.... there is a good chance of it backfiring by changing the team around so much.

Either way... i like it and think its worth a shot.

Option 2 means Ant plays 80 mins doesn't it? Don't think that will happen. Depends on how the game plays out. Must be Hayne to 6.

perhaps he will rotate mitchell and robson from half to hooker during the game? maybe even try morts at hooker?

Luke Burt is a good winger. He's also a great support player on the fringe of the ruck, hanging around forwards who can offload amongst traffic. He does however scare the life out of me everytime he returns a kick from the fullback position. He doesn't have the greatest ball control, is regularly smashed and/or driven backwards in gang tackles. If he does play fullback I hope he passes to his wingers upon receipt of the downtown kicked ball and lets them cart it up, then gets into dummy half and scoots for 5 or 10 metres.

You were right Phil, I went int he direction of Rogers but you have come up trumps.
I endorse Hayne at 5/8 however Hayne has to want to play there. At the moment he states he does not favour. Which worries me.
If Loko comes in for Mitchell i see Burt playing a bit of time at hooker clearing up some space for Loko to slot on the wing.

Burt would struggle defensively at hooker defending in the middle against big props and locks running at him.

but this is all moot if McGuire is not injured. Anyone know for sure if he will/won't play?

PHIL      I like it except where is humble ?   Plus morts must still go , anyone who thinks we can rely on him is dreaming .

1 basic game and he is ok ? NO WAY . Drop him and train murray or bruest for half

Hayne basically is our 6, except he wears a 1??

When you look at his stats, line breaks, try assists, passes, kicks, he is a 6 really. He is our go to man...

anthony mitchil is a sharpe hooker ,with a great passing game, hes a top player of the future.

why play robson, also we are told loko will play on the wing, to replace the out of form winger.
