Will Jarryd Hayne return home?

It’s time for Jarryd Hayne to come home, writes Dean RitchieDEAN RITCHIE, The Daily Telegraph19 minutes agoSubscriber onlyEXCLUSIVE: Hayne ready to quit Titans after RLWC 2017THE soap opera continues but this time rugby league must listen to Jarryd Hayne.Hayne wants a return to Sydney and that is where he plays his best football.Hayne was the world’s best player during his reign at Parramatta because he was comfortable and happy in Sydney.The harbour city is where rugby league will see the best of Jarryd Hayne.It seemed obvious from the start that he was uncomfortable on the Gold Coast.His football stagnated after his return from the NFL in the US.Jarryd Hayne played his best football for Parramatta in 2009.Even hours before signing the Titans deal Hayne was on the phone to Eels captain Tim Mannah begging for a Parramtta contract.Jarryd Hayne belongs at Parramatta. That’s his home and that’s where he should play.No doubt Hayne’s decision will frustrate footy fans who have tired of his bizarre antics but you just get the feeling Hayne is unsettled by being away from family and friends in Sydney.Who knows whether he will recapture the brilliance of 2009 but playing in Sydney will certainly give him the best opportunity to do so.It’s time for Jarryd to come home.

"It's more than that with the ball I don't remember him ever having that fend and speed to back himself taking on defenders.His improvement has come from within  more so I think the surroundings you mention have helped also though."
