Will Gould Coach Origin Next Year?

Phil Gould is the most successful NSW coach in history but still refuses to coach the Blues. Originally his argument was that the Independent Commission wasn't set up but we all knew the real reason was that we couldn't beat QLD. With the Blues forcing a decider and now knowing that they can beat QLD that excuse is gone. Also, the Independent Commission should be set up by next year. So, there is the possibility Gould will make a comeback to Origin. I for 1 would prefer Gould to Stuart because Gould is a man of his word and will make decisions in the best interests of the team. He won't go against his own word like Stuart did and he can almost guarantee a series victory.

  • Gould has built himself up as the best since Jack Gibson. No way will he coach again, just in case he fails.
  • Yes, Gould would be crazy to risk his reputaton in the media given that he has a successfull career there.

Have you noticed how his hair is changing every week. He is gradually going natural but all the products that he has used have made his hair brown green grey.

He's going for the Rabbits look

Not sure who offered more in financials though. "

"Are you talking about Julio Jones? It was sad seeing him decline the way he did. He signed with Tampa, who i support, it was a shame seeing a shell of his former HOF self."

I cannot answer for EA, but if there is a kid to play 6 now the closest bet would be Papali'i or Volkman. In future Twidle or Talataina could be the future.

"Agreed. But that has to begin at an organisational level, not just the football department.
