Firstly i'm a huge BA fan, i love the bloke, this blogs just asking a question thats going to be asked in the media sooner than later and taking into account everything thats happened to the club its an interesting question.
Theres high expectations this year, rightly so imo.
Last year in the season from hell we lost 12 points, had about 2m worth of talent out for various reasons, we had every drama under the sun hanging over our head and still only missed the 8 by a game, simply outstanding effort from Brad and the team, i personally think we will easily make the 8 this year, im tipping 4th-6th.
BUT for conversations sake seeings theres not a lot of footy talk atm, what happens if we have a good injury run for our key players ie Norman, and we still miss the 8?
I personally think BA will be sweet regardless because i know hes a good coach, hes so respected at the club because hes earn't it, he's earn't and deserves some breathing space, but how long can a good coach go for missing the 8 regardless of how long his contract is?
If Brad fails to take us to the 8 this year do you will be under pressure.?
My opinion is no he wont be under pressure from many within our club, but i do think the media will start chipping away at his lack of success.

No, because we WILL make the top 8!
Sorry Snake, that I couldn't engage more warmly in your hypothesis. I am sure I've at least given some ammo to the conversation though. Good question, just not realistic for mine.
Every year we think we'll make the 8 and every year we dont, who's saying that wont happen again?
Last year most thought we were a top 4 side with Foran coming aboard.
Injuries to key players may disrupt a teams ability to reach the finals, and that would be the only way we would not achieve it.
What about off field incidents where our club is forced to sack another player, lets just say Corey Norman, a guy who Brad has put faith into and given many chances too, lets say Corey fucks up, at the end of the day Brad has to take responsability because he resigned him.
What about player walk outs, Semi might pull some magical scheme, theres a lot of left field things that can come into play chief.
What I'm saying is like all teams, we need to keep our core group on the field.
I feel Bernie will take a tougher stance. 3 alcohol realated incidents inside a month - not good.
As for BA being under pressure, no I don't think so. As long as we are competitive and don't have a really lacklustre season like the Dragons in 2016, I think his job will be comfortably safe until 2018 at least.
Good call.
