  He only played a few minutes for wenty against Penrith and went off with a neck injury. Had scans and should be ok. Having said that he has done no contact work all off season and mostly trained by himself so coming back via wenty is entirely feasible.

    From the sounds of that, they'll start with Alvaro. No point risking any players when we're in the luxury of having strong depth at the start of the year, IMO.

  No complaints having Alvaro out there.

  More game time he gets the more he will improve imo.

  A rare luxury for the Eels having depth with quality.

  Apparently Wicks is feigning injury as he doesnt want to be seen donning the eel blue and canary yellow jersey, can hardly blame the bloke. In other news, Watmough has been urged by family and close friends to call it a day, it has become evident to all and sundry that untold damage has been done to Watmoughs legacy by playing the 2015 season for the hapless eels.
