Im very surprised they arnt happy with anything being blogged just to keep some flow going around here.
They should be thankful people are taking the time to voice their opinions, not being hell bent on shutting them down.
Its not like theres a flood of blogs, people dont blog anymore because their blogs get deleted as doubles and they feel deflated and insulted they went to the effort to voice their opinion but it gets deleted or ignored because one other eels fan blogged the same thing.
Worst is game day where theres 20 people in the cupboard saying 'why did my blog get deleted', those people just stop bothering.
HELLO! forums are dying to social media, deleting blogs on a forum thats numbers are down is very fekking stupid, its digging a forums grave.
Let everybody have their say, promote peoples opinions, make them feel their blogs arnt taken for granted.
Id have thought this site be thankful for every blog it can get from passionate fans, thats clearly not happening.
exactly right snake. people talk about us having an agenda against the club when really were just passionate about our club and other fans take it the wrong way, the moderators on the other hand are the ones with an agenda, they will delete a blog if it goes against what they believe... they dont care about peoples opinions especially if it goes against their opinions.
Spot on Ibby, and its not Phil doing it, ive been around long enough and watch whose online to know its not phil, about the only time top blogs is touched is when phil comes online and ive never seen him deleting blogs with fair and basic opinion on them, he doesnt even delete blogs when they are critical of him to his credit, and its not Pat.
Its Super, Capt, not sure if Ricky is still doing it but its coming from the mods and its created a seriously very stagnant and poor environment thats not respectful of their fellow fans voices.
I honestly dont know why i give a fuck any more, nobody seems to really care or even bother to take the time to figure out whats doing or address it.
You have people with zero vision or perspective running the show theres only one direction the show is headed, thats south.
Snake you're more than welcome to start your own site and run it the way you see fit. No one's stopping you from doing that, nor is anyone forcing you to stay here.

Top Blogs are not visible on the mobile version anyway Snake. I think a lot of members use this method to access 1EE.
Actually, the digital space is moving away from just, pure content. We're bombarded by content everywhere, on every social media and 95% of it is pure crap or just the regurgitating of someone else's article/opinion. Those sites that are actually setting themselves apart are doing so through curating content that is both engaging and original. Which is why duplicate blogs are removed.
Audiences aren't looking for the same opinion over and over again. In fact, the reason we began deleting duplicate blogs is because members were complaining there were duplicate blogs, especially those who had written the original blog that was then duplicated. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
You can't force traffic through just posting content. Content may be king but shit content is still shit. Good content is king. That's what drives your traffic. It's no surprise that there's seemingly a drop-off in traffic this season. There's a number of reasons behind that and the amount of content on the site is a long way down that list.
There are two main reasons though:
1. Many people have left over the past 2 years due to the more personal some of the attacks on this site have gotten. This site also has a poor reputation on other social media.
2. Social media. We don't really utilise social media much to drive traffic. It's something we're looking at doing. Obviously when the site started and throughout most of its life, social media hasn't been needed to drive traffic in the way it is used now.
Super with all due respect ive watched you for a long time and im no fool, i think i have my finger on the pulse of the people better than many, certainly better than youself.

You like to think you do but i completely disagree.
I think you are moderating this forum into the ground mate, you are killing the expression, the relivance, the voice of the people, youre killing the flow, content, posts.
You dont understand what youre doing, im not saying you are a bad guy but you are doing great damage that will only be seen when its too late.
Youve never written blogs only to have them deleted, you wouldnt know how deflating that is, it stops people from blogging.
I wasn't always a moderator on here mate. I've had blogs on here deleted, I've deleted my own blogs if someone else has beaten me to the punch on something and I've had articles and blogs on other sites deleted or not approved.
You've got huge discussion board sites like Reddit that delete thousands of blogs daily if they're duplicates or don't conform to their site policies. They're not exactly struggling.
Reddit has a much bigger user base and yes some reddit forums die because of how they are handled.
Agree reddit is a great forum depending on who is running the forums.
