WHY WE'LL WIN...

...For the past three month's the boys season's been on the line. Drop a game 8 weeks ago and we would've been gone. Had the Tiges beat the Titans in the second last round we wouldn't even be having this conversation.Who would you rather be in the trenches with - the wizened vet or the new recruit? The Dogs (in my opinion) have had too easier a run. They'd sewn up a finals spot too early, their run in was too easy and then they had a "walk in the park" in that first semi against the Knights who may as well stayed in bed the way they played. The only time they've come up against any stiff competition was that Tigers match in the last round - and guess what? They got pumped. They haven't had a tough hit out in weeks (months). Kimmorley hasn't played in a month. And they certainly haven't had to face any sudden death football. As the Dragons players (now on their end-of-season trip) will testify - semis football is a totally other ball-game to the season proper.Unless I'm wrong and Moore's got them right up or it, the Dogs won't know what hit 'em. And they seem so preoccupied by Mortimer and Hayne, you watch the (scheming) likes of Feleti, Kingston, Keating etc run riot.To contradict all that, let's just hope it isn't a "bridge too far for the Eels" and the run's already knackered them.Good luck to all! (but why need luck when you have Fui).

HKF replied to Hector's discussion Young Joash papa extends
"The chances of him being our 6 next year are very low, if he was a serious consideration he would be playing 6 now with dylan at centre. I'll be very surprised if he is our starting 6 next season unless he gets a lot more time there this season. "

"I think Joash is a good player, but from what I've seen only at fullback or on the wing. Those positions we've got pretty well covered, so I guess he's a great back up option. I'd like to see him in 1st grade, but I dont know how he fits in?"
