Why We Need Peats...

It is clear to me that this year the defensive effort from the boys has been different.  The up and in this year is much more noticeable than last year but the biggest difference is line speed...

Watching the boys there is no clear leader of the d line and the speed is slow or non existent at time.  Last years teams were getting 25m - 30m per set against us, this year it has risen to 45m - 50m.  I see the reason is that no one is pushing us forward.

Peats was our leader, and IDG after him.  Kaysa isnt doing that and thats whey we need Peats.  Taka did try and lift us midway through the 2nd half yesterday, but other than that no one wanting to make meters in defense.

If not Peats then we need a defensive leader as thats how BA coaches and thats our way forward

    This Tonise kid in our Holden Cup team is very talented. Big lump of a lad, skillful and very good at yardage out of dummy half. He's the co-captain too, let's hope he kicks on.

"He might if the money was right. If the initial year was big and the CO year even bigger, why wouldn't he? As you say, he's still in demand. If we didn't activate the CO, it's likely he would have other offers."
