I have made a little video clip from this weeks round highlighting why we need Kieran Foran and what he brings to our table next year.
The first part of the clip is our very own Eels, showing how to lose a game with the game very much still alive. The second part is Kieran Foran in the same situation as the Eels and the way he handle an opposition threat.
I know Cherry Evans threw the winning pass to beat the storm and grab man of the match, but make no mistake without Foran's leadership Manly would have never been in with a chance for Cherry to win the game.

It was Foran`s best game of his year but what about the earlier rounds? He did nothing that Norman can`t do. His passing game when working well is slightly better than Norman`s but no great difference. His defence can be very good but with some misses. Norman`s defence is adequate with some misses. Both of them are inferior in making line breaks or busting tackles, Norman has an edge there. Both player are not fast enough in the 5/8 position to make busts. To pay Foran that amount of money is a mistake. He well could be another Watmough who, though, could still come good.
Foran plays a lot faster than Norman, also organises his side well. If Norman is organising our team this year then his job next year will be a lot easier as Foran is a better organiser than Sandow. Foran has only played 2 games, he was the only one who looked dangerous in Round 1 against us, set-up 2 tries and one was called a forward pass (which wasn't forward) and that left edge looked hard to read despite not having Matai and Gutherson went down early.
a fully fit foran is good. did you see how much sterlo has come out and said how happy he is about this signing. Sterlo never coments. He has openly said Foran is our answer.
Watmough was lazy though Norman shouldn't have put in such an atrocious kick to no-one and nowhere.
