Why We must Start Well !!!!!

For the last decade , Our eels have started slow (excluding 2001) , I believe the last 11 wekks in 2009 were excepetional , but i cant see such a run happening again , I feel the eels must get out in front from the start of the season , If they can at least win 7 out of the first 10 , we will have 18 points (2 byes added) , this means the eels can rest and experiment before the finals .2010 they must hit top 4 by seasons end , Do that and there is no stopping us from our first title in 24 years.Also what player experiments would you try ?Your thoughts on this ,

I disagree we sterted well in 2001. Our first six were W-2, D-2. L-2. I was in Canberra for round 4 when we were towelled by the Raiders.

Regardless of wether we should or shouldn't, I think we will.

Tahu, Poore and Shackleton have something to prove at a new club.

Cayless, Grothem, Burt, Inu, Morts, KK, Mateo, Foi and more a looking for new contracts... here or elsewhere..... you would expect them to jump out of the blocks

Tottaly Agree, 7 or 8 wins out of our first 10 games should put us in a great position and enough momentum to kick on with it.

In 2009 DA tryed to have Hayne play at 6. I think thats what like ruined our early rounds!

  u know what. i Bet if hayne plays 6 agen. He would fucken be beast at it. Its his momentum and confidence. Hes young he just did have any confidence in that position as soon as he moved to fullback it was just his mind saying hes gonna do good not his capability.

I guess that Hayne learnt all his kicking skills when he played those games at 6.
