  • I agree about using the money that Thurston would command on forwards. The forwards were the reason Parra made the GF last year. Jarryd Hayne just fed off the their great go forward. With the two nathans at the end of their careers, there is going to be a massive hole to fill in our pack and the money would be better spent there than buying 1 over priced half in the latter stages of his career.
  • P.S. As much as I have liked and enjoyed Kimmorley, we don't want to be buying a 34+YO.
  • totally agree, with better go forward from the big boys im sure mortz and keating will do a better job, so lets buy a prop or two
  • I hope we will have the money to buy quality forwards, am worried about how many backended contracts we may have?
  • kIMMORLEY SUCKS
Mortimer will be a freak, remember he is very young. I agree lets nurture Tom Humble, everyone keeps saying how good this kid can be, lets grow humble, mortimer, hayne.
Thurston will be boost but only a short term one. he may bring the experience and we may win a GF ( and believe me, if i see the eels win a GF in my lifetime i will die a very very happy man) but lets be patient, nurture and develop our kids and we will win a GF. Daniel Anderson is definately the man for the job.
    We have good forwards.

Lets be patient. It will come
  • We need to buy a few big boppers with plenty of promise but they dont have to be rep quality. Look at michael weyman the dragons probly got him cheap and they trained the hell out of him and now look at him.
  • WTF??

Did you say Kimmorley?? That over-rated, over-paid, pensioner?

If he doesnt retire at the end of the year, any team who signs him deserves to be cursed to 10 straight wooden spoons
  • The Raiders seems to have more forwards than they need. They've got some good back rowers in TLL, Joe Picker and young Fensom has been great so far. Picker and Fensom in particular wouldn't be too expensive I don't reckon.
  • Fensom is a great talent

he is also off contract at seasons end and would be a value pick up but given his recent form I can't see the raiders letting him go.
    • you are spot on with Fensom, problem is other clubs know he has a talent and will chase him, he is getting good write ups at the moment. He is a tackling machine.
