  Because they either A) made a mistake or B) decided to cheat. You or I will never know the answer but I would put my money on A)

  I just find it very strange when it went to the 3rd ref and you could hear someone in the Bunker say that was a shoulder charge why was nothing done and why has nothing been done after the game about it ?

  They didn't rule it a shoulder charge, there was no illegal play ruled

    If you can watch the replay if you taped it or can get if , tell me what type of hit/tackle you think it is or describe it ? That's my whole point nothing was done ! If Wicks stayed down something probably would of been done .. But Wicks got up straight away to try get quick play the ball ..
    But go watch the replay and describe what type of hit and contact it had .

  If it wasn't a shoulder charge then if those who watched or taped it .. Go to the moment it gets sent upstairs , why can you clearly hear someone in the Bunker say that's a shoulder charge by Coote ? If anyone taped it on fox go to that moment and listen to the Bunker it is loud and clear for everyone to hear ..

    Just watched it now, video ref says checked can see it's not a shoulder charge.
    Watched it a few times. Looks like Cootes has arm tucked in and braces for contact. However it was a shoulder charge intentional or not, is not the point. Should've been at least a penalty if not a penalty try.
