Why Parra will have success

Like his once mentor, Brad Arthur is one of the few coaches within the NRL that has caught onto the idea that clubs win premierships not players.

U.S sports have long been operating in this space that you need 'stars' but you also need role players'.  Bellamy has done this better than any other, to date, however there may be new royalty at managing the recruitment roller coaster and truly building a franchise and not a team of super stars.

Hail 'King Arthur'

It is clear to me that BA is a man that know where games are won and the roles that we need role players in.

It may not be next year or even the year after but i have the utmost confidence that with BA and a man like Bernie Gurr running our great club we will become a dominate force and dominate a decade as Melbourne have done in recent tmes.

So, in closing, if a player wants to go, let  them go, if there are deficiencies BA has options look at this year...

  • Yep , but hopefully he is over his Manly recruitment drive .
    • The only thing I couldn't understand. I don't mind Vave and had Foran worked out, it would've been good. But there is another 14 clubs to pick from, and overseas.
    • He wants blokes who work hard and never quit. That's why he's been chasing players he knows. You can see a player's ability just by watching him on the field but it's a lot harder to know his character.
  • 'Dominant'
