The game would be far better off if betting was suspended on all games forever !!
It would not stop the games being rigged.
Notice how the integrity of the refs are never in question during any betting scandle.
We have so many refs all it takes it to give a simple holding down penalty which could never be questioned.
But in stating this I do agree that betting has a lot to do with results.
