Why I'm confident

Everybody is talking up the chances of the Melbourne Storm in the Grand Final on Sunday. They say they have big game experience and have played in Grand Finals before, whereas Parra have very little experience.To me that means absolutely nothing.We are going to win on Sunday because it means so much more to our club and our players want it more than the Storm players do. It is our time and it is our turn. After 23 years of waiting I am confident that the premiership trophy will once again be in the possession of the Parramatta Eels. Melbourne have been there before and have tasted enormous success over the last 4 years. For them it's just another game. For us it is everything.I'm looking forward to buying the hat that reads "Premiers Parramatta Eels" on Monday and telling my little boy that he was there at 4 years of age and he watched the Eels win the competition.

    Yeah I got a six year old who'll be very upset if they loose!!!

    I just wanna see Hindy, Caylo and Burty do the lap of honour......There is no one who deserves it more than this trio

    i really dont understand why melbourne are such heavy favourites, but its good i guess

    eels have been playing pressure football for 11 weeks now and the only game they have dropped was that horrid performance against dragons with many saying DA pretty much gave us no guidance or game plan that week.

    confidence is oozing out of the parra boys ATM. i just hope if we chance our arm a bit in the early stages that we get the bounce of the ball. coz the last thing we want is for the boys to go into their shell.

    i got 10 hours sleep last night, all 10 hours were just dreams about tomorow. never been so anxious, excited in my life!!!

    and sterlo tipped parra for once! GOO PARRRRA!
