"Would've made him shave it off turning up to pre season like that. Smith would be licking his lips"
"TDS is still young, with plenty of improvement left in him. He could still play Flegg in 2026 ffs. And despite being two years younger than Ryley Smith, he has played nine more NRL games."
"So if you don't rate him why put him in lower grades for time? If you don't rate him time in lower grades won't matter."
"HFK, Fair point. Sure, we could. But balancing incoming youth with experience is almost a perennial issue. A constant cycle. It never really goes away. At least not for too long. "

Two words for the 70th logo......Dog shit.....
The logo strength is not in the aesthetics. The strength is in its 'idea' & storyline. What it stands for.
I see where you're coming from, but , I believe the logo is actually telling an opposite story than the one you see.
Its actually espousing ( getting rid of the dishonesty of recent epochs ) returning back to old fashioned values.
I'm gathering, it's paying tribute to the alleged original Barramattal Aboriginal tribe & traditional spear fishing along the Parra River, that I'm led to believe is also on the earliest emblems when we became known as the Eels.
In a way I'd say that ties in nicely with the back to the core roots Gurr has been espousing honesty, ethics & excellence. Complimenting old-school honest principles that Brad Arthur exudes.
That all sits well with me. Honouring old world principles.
