Why in the blazes have a home game in Darwin?? Especially against the Cowboys who primarily live and train in a humid climate similar to Darwin. It's stupid in my opinion. Maybe against Canberra or Storm. There will never be a Rugby League team in Darwin in my opinion as it's primarily an AFL stronghold and nothing like Melbourne.

it doesn't matter about tonight's game. You need to stay strong and have faith in the 5 year plan
We've won 6 of 7 games in Darwin, if anything it is in our favour.
That's not the point. The question is why have a home game in Darwin?
I believe the NT arrangement makes the club a good amount of money.
Clubs can nominate time for a regional game a preference for opponent but the NRL has final say on the opponent and details.
Ideally it wouldn't be cowboys but the club has no say
The NT deal makes us 1m from their govt for the trial and nrl game.
But you are right, why take a warm weather team there, we needed to request the raiders or warriors there.
We needed to negotiate better with the nrl over this one
