What a rubbish piece of so called journalism..the clown calls himself an expert..
I don't know about all other Eels fans but I know the premiership drought is never on my mind. Yes I would love it if they won it but it would be more about shuting up the media than anything else. I have been an Eels supporter for almost 50 years and go to every home game I can and during that whole time I don't ever once remember even discussing it with another fan.
Agree if anything it is the media that brings up 1986, i want to see us win a comp every year regardless of whether we won it the year before on in the last 5, 10, 50, 100 years.
Though that St. Kilda stat is heartbreaking, not as bad as North Sydney, won two premierships in 1921 and 1922, never won another one again and only made one more GF in 1943, til they were kicked out in 1999.
