I believe it's for parra to start looking at building a strong premiership wining squad with so many players off contract, it make since to start recruiting some representative players starting with Latrell Mitchell.
I know maybe i'm dreaming but it seems this is the only way for us moving forward.

It would be good if we signed him, but I herd he doesn’t get on with brad Arthur
haha, the master coach!?
Dane Gagai would be the better, cheaper and more likely buy.
we cant complain as long as we get the right players and just sign some retirees.
Gagai looks to be off to the Titans
lets hope that doesn't happen other wise the club board would have to go if they don't plan this properly.
we definetly not going to sign every player on the market , but by saying that we need to bring in some class players and retain our performing players.
Gagai would be great if we can't afford Latrell, we need to strengthen our forward pack as well by signing a couple of monsters that can realy give us that go forward edge which we're lacking.
Who said we are not chasing Latrell? I bet every club has made an enquiry regarding his services.
I really hope so it’ll be a great addition.
Simply saying we should chase so and so is unrealistic and a better approach to recruitment is needed. Latrell Mitchell is no chance and complaining we don't go after these players or even someone like Marty taupau is ridiculous. Of course we enquire but the manager simply laughs and returns Uncle Nick's, Bellamy or Russell Crowes call.
When will people realise that the top players go to the top clubs. Very rarely will you see superstars sign anywhere but the big 3 roosters, Melbourne and Brisbane. Brisbane have advantage of not playing on weekends which is a massive drawcard for players. If young they can party with mates or if have family can spend weekend with them. The 3 clubs have pick of players due to TPAs, onfield success and post footy careers/money. The TV exposure of playing for glamour club also attracts players with big ego. The rabbits are now joining this group of clubs as well.
After those clubs they are likely to move to area that is nice to live in such as sharks or nth Qld and cruisey life in coastal area. Parra is way down the list of attractive clubs and finds it hard to attract talent. We are a shit box suburban sprawl so lifestyle isn't attractive or long drive through traffic. Average results on field aren't enticing and a board situation that can erupt at any time meaning when you sign it may not be close to club structure and personnel you end up playing for..
I think we are seeing improvements in our systems now by not paying massive overs or getting into bidding wars. Moses seems to be on overs by some opinions based on irregular performances however he is still couple hundred thousand less than majority of halves and his real value will be seen when he has 2nd half to ease the pressure on him who complements his game in D brown.
Going forward we need some luck in unearthing young stars who perform beyond expectations or team that play together as champions over a team of champions. Some of our young players have potential and although very inconsistent they have shown we have the base of a team that can compete.
With this side hopefully we can maintain a top 8 position for few years which will help lift the quality player we are able to attract. Maybe we could then sign young State of origin players and not players like Jennings or Fergo who were at the end of SOO career. We still won't have a shot at Latrell level players but it wil be improvement on having bring plumber from Qcup to club in hope he can bring something.
