"If you are going to do that better off just keeping him in Cup as a break glass option. Unless he is that much of a cancer and that negative to the squad that he needs to go."

We're not in the part of the process where all the minute details are made public. Usually that comes with the final breach notice.
We are leaking the parts of the report we don't like - and the NRL isn't able to come out and rebuke those just yet. So they asked the court to order the document locked up in the interim. Pretty standard stuff.
Don't you think this process would be a lot better if the NRL quietly gave us the preliminary breach notice. Instead of grandstanding on every single TV channel and radio station.
And then once we had our right to reply, and they issued the final notice, they can then do all of their media appearances and furthering their careers etc etc.
It all seems very backwards...
Its interesting that they would fight to make it confidential when every man and his third cousin is leaking it to the media
The NRL is trying to show the court that they are doing the right thing. They must be worried that, further down the track, that we will allege in a procedural fairness action that the NRL leaked it. It's a smart move by the NRL.
100% mate, it's completely moronic.
Hooper wouldn't know if his arse was on fire!
