So the players can't take pay cuts for us to get under the cap, but why don't we just renegotiate the contract with a player and back-end it. They would get less this year to make us cap compliant, but overall would still get the same amount as agreed in the contract. We could keep Peats then. Mannah is a team player and loves the club; couldn't we just give him less this year and then more later on? He's not on huge coin anyway so there's not a great deal of risk involved.
