Living up here sucks during SOO. It's the only time I really hate living in Queensland.
Even without Turbo and Mitchell at centre we would be fine with Staggs and Crichton at centre as they are both better than Holmes and Gagai. The problem is Fittler starting Wighton at centre.
Wighton isn't even good enough for a bench spot let alone starting at centre. He is just about the worst option Fittler could have gone with at centre. For fucksake even Paulo would have been a better option at centre.
If we lose it will be because of that clusterfuck of a selection by Fittler. One to many barefoot walks on the grass me thinks.
Yeah well when I was living in NSW and trying to watch origin, was the worst. Everyone would say that they are over origin and they never watch it anymore. And if you could find someone to watch it they would dribble on about how it's rigged. Funny how many NSW supporters watching now that NSW are favorites...
When qld were on their winning streak of 8 in a row, everyone up here was calling SOO the best thing in the world.
Before that run when NSW won 3 in a row in 2003, 2004 and 2005 and after that run when NSW won 2 in a row in 2018 and 2019, everyone up here was crying that the concept was dead and SOO should be scrapped.

Agree, dont know why Wighton was selected except for his Origin experience.
Origin Gagai is a different animal, the last time he and Wighton were opposed in Origin he gave Jack a bath. It could even be the decisive match up.
