It's amazing that these same 2 teams were in the top 8 last year and the Eels eliminated the Cowboys in the finals in somewhat of a controversial match and now these 2 sides are sitting 13th and 14th respectively on the NRL ladder. In spite of the Eels missing RCG, Paulo, Lane, Davey and Matterson I still think the Eels can win rather comfortably by at least 10 points. I think the Cowboys will be a better team and more determined after being thrashed by the West Tigers last week. I just think the Eels homeground and experienced spine will get the job done. If the Eels can't win this game against a Cowboys team that is also missing some important players at CommBank then I really can't see them progressing much into the finals if making them at all. Db and mitchy should get the job done. If we dont win this, the win against rabbits was for nothing

Taumalolo not playing for the Cowboys either. https://www.canberratimes.com.au/story/8209900/taumalolos-cowboys-r...
No Taumalolo, no excuses.
This is a statement game.
Tigers put 66 on them last week when they had a stronger squad so we should annihilate them.

Now that Taumalolo is out, I'll say Eels by at least 3 tries.
Anyone think Daejarn could be a late inclusion?
Replace who?
Why?
I cannot understand the love affair some posters on here have with this guy. (10 reserve games, 2 tires, 1 linebreak, 7 try assists (good), 96 average run metres & 80% tackle effectiveness)
What's he done to deserve the love? OR is he just someone different?
someone different is all it is.
