Who will run for the new board?

I affraid now that the plumber is gone another lot of ex players with no qualifications will come out trying to bring the club back.Personally i feel we need new blood prople with buissiness nous. No more ex players holding on to past glorys. We need change we need people to guide this club. The fans deserve a strong parramatta not the shambles we have been for the past decade. No more unqualified ex players no more factions fighting for power a strong united parra. Is what we need.

  • Snake has previously said there is a plan B
  • "No more ex players"
100% agree.. Couldn't care less about your 80s heroics anymore
  • Don't be surprised at any name that is put forward for the board vacancies.

I am betting they will also be pushing the privatised club agenda to get their hands on the money to be made from the development projects the club had already flagged.

I would also expect Dennis to be first in line.

    • FMD is Fitzgerald comes anywhere near our club in any capacity that will do me. I will not and can not support a club with this vile excuse for a human being at the helm.

  • I just may nominate myself, I have been asked to stand on a few occasions and I have always declined, well I have sat on the sidelines for far too long now and watched our club get dragged around like a rag doll, I think it is time I stand up and be counted, I know I have a lot to offer our club and I now know it is going to take a lot of work to get us back to where we should be but I am up for the challenge. I have over 20 years experience as a Managing Director of a company that has enjoyed growth each year since I took over.

    • Mate, now is not the time for people like you to be peddling your ticket.

Whilst you may be the key to our success. This is not the place.
    • This blog is as its about the board.
  • Apologies Daniel, I was just putting it out there as the blog was asking "who will run for the new board" again I apologise if this has offended you, today has been tough for all of us Eels supporters.

    • No offence mate, more so looking out for you and other good people.

You dont want to be type cast.

      • Thanks Daniel, I appreciate it.

"Sorry should have clarified, 1998 NRL era.
I stuck to what i knew best. I love Luke Burt, still my favourite ever player, hence the dp. He didn't have that flashy skills like Hayne and was undersized but to accomplish 260+ games is an achievement…"

"Can you define what era / year your modern day starts from.
I took Jarryd Hayne on your survey, but I also loved Luke Burt as a team man. Luke Burt reminded me so much of little Paul Taylor, did so much work but never got the credit he deserved."
