  Don't think it's a massive problem, you can build a great team around long range kickers or short range kickers. It's all about coaching your players around their best capabilities.

  There's no way hodkinson would come here when titans and Newcastle would almost double what we could offer, not worth it. I'd say our regular halves are settled with foran and Norman it's just the back up half that needs to be sorted out and by all accounts it sounds like Jacob miller is the man along with matterson.

  I have noticed Foran kicking more lately. Good lad, practising for next year.

  Im hoping were still chasing richie myler to partner foran in the halves with norman at fb.

  Forans lack of kicking coMes from DCE dominating the last play, second to one of the best in the game.
  same goes for norman and sandow, reynolds and hodkinson. There will always be one superior kicker in a halves pairing. The real question is who will dominate the last play?

  Norman and Foran will be the halves next year. It is going to be a weakness not having a long kicker in the team, might not be to big a problem if our forwards can dominate. i think both Norman and Foran have good short kicking games.

  trying to get a 40/20 kick next year wont happen, both Norman and Foran dont have a big boot on them, at least with all Sandows faults, he does get mant 40/20 and also gets deep field position sometimes?

  Gotta say i really liked Norman at fullback in the saints game. Im starting to think that BA might be looking at a half back that can kick long and run in general play and Norman more to fullback with Gordon to the wing shared with Robinson, whom are both goal kickers too.

  Id be willing to swap one 40\20 every two games for a good short game every game .... Any day of the week.

  Norman and Foran will be our halves and as for the kicking both have a good short kicking game and both will improve their long kicking game so there is no need to worry as both have not had to do it as there respected halves have been doing it. If you look at Norman he has a big boot just needs more practise.

  Norman will be taking long range and he and Foran will be doing the short stuff. Both good kickers and Gordon may put a few in as well?
