  • DEFINITELY will be a close contest. Whether us or them come out victors; we have to wait for Sunday...
  • I Think we can if we play at our best, even if they play at their best. Here is hoping!!! Go EELS !!
  • I am bit worried that loss would be too demoralising for our confidence. 24-10 or somewhere around that would have been fine but 37-0. Man thats really shattering and i imagine its really gotta be tough on a teams self confidence and faith in each other. Hopein im wron and all the boys brush it off. C'MON PARRA
  • mate, it'll go down to the wire, im shitting myself, i think we may be gone by sunday night.

i'm not saying we cant win, when we turn it up, no one can match us, but st merge are well coached and well structured and will be an enormous task.

Big performances from hayne, inu, fuifui, cayless, morts and hindy are required.(as well as the rest of the team, but these guys especially)
players like robson and lowrie dont have to win us the game, just not lose it for us with stupid plays.

kingstons impact is key, he has kinda gone mssing recently and we need him to fire!

optimistic tip. Parra 22- st merge 16
    • I actually thought we looked a lot more likely when Kinga came on on Friday. I'm not rubbishing MK again, but his inexperience in that big game showed a bit, he was very quiet, he has the ability to trouble the Dragons on Sunday if he can believe in his own ability.

If MK fails to stand up within the first 20-30 on Sunday i'd bring Kinga on and leave him there to give him some serious time on the paddock to crack the dragons. Any astute judge will tell you that one of the way teams have hurt the Dragons this season has been around the ruck with quick scooting runs and inside balls etc
  • We know what the Dragans will do play that boring Wayne Bennett grinding no mistake game and try to bash us up the middle like they did on friday night.

DA has to come up with a great game plan and we have to play tuff and get in Jamie Sowards face big time.

we need to score early in the game

If we can get a bit of luck with the Ref and our passes stick we can win
  • We'll win by 19 points - I saw a card reader today.
  • If we want it more, then yes, we can win.

I dont think last Friday night will be on our minds at all. I honestly think we were just happy to be in the finals last week.

This is a different comp... and a sunday arvo. I rate our chances highly.
  • I don't think we can do it. I think the Dragons will be just as hungry for a win as they were last week, they're at home and if they're on their game, we will have to pull something magic out of the hat to win. But Parra have a habit of surprising me (in good ways and bad ways), so I hope this is one of the times I expect a loss and they end up giving the oposition a caining.
  • i think we can beat them!

just look at dragons form the week before they played us and look at our form the week before we played them.

if those two teams are the ones that turn up then we will win comfortably. sadly i think dragons will be at their best so i think we will need to play out of our skins to beat them. we need to minimise our errors and get some of that brick wall defence back that we had for that 5 week period.

if we can take the crowd out of the equation with an early try or two we will go a long wayy!

no way will we get thrashed. we took melbourne right to the wire a couple of seasons ago and that was 1st vs 8th.

    CMONNN PARRA !
