Who should the eels sign as a halfback?

With the club in the market for a halfback I believe that the club should make a play for Todd carney to partner Norman in the halves with Cornish and Robson maintained as a backup incase of an injury I believe carney can give the eels an edge in attack and the goal kicking he's versatility makes him the perfect candidate for the roll what's everyone's opinion on this would like to hear from everyone on this issue as this is a very important issue moving forward in 2017
