I'll get this out of the way early, without doubt our most important player this year is Corey Norman, at last years 9s i realised id made the wrong assessment of him and changed my opinion of him, hes come a long way since his first season here which he was a passenger, to his credit hes been playing very good consistent footy.
Corey is obviously our leading half and if he goes out injured or has an off field saga that sees him out of the picture i really cant see us as any chance of being there on the big day.
2nd most important player imo is Gutherson, a lot obviously hinges on his progression as a half, if he gels with Dozey he could be the bloke who puts us in the serious contenders spot, he also has a lot of room for improvement, hes nowhere near peaking as a player and only getting better and gaining more confidence, i think he's going to have a big year and could be the dark horse to really make the difference.
3rd most important factor is how Bevan copes with his positional play and defence at FB, that will either make him or break him at FB.
4th, we need to Keep Scott injury free and on the park, hes integral for setting the standards, intensity and line speed in the opening quarter.
Who's your most important players this season and why?

It's his year to go to the level everyone expects. For us to use our backline to the best of its ability, we need Tep hitting really quick play the balls on the edges and popping the odd ball to a French or going thru the line consistently. The game is so much about the quick PTB. If he am Manu can do this then we can unleash the backs running at players.
I'm picking this is where his game will go to this year!!!
If we wanted a most important, BA would have thrown more money at princess Hayne.
It's called a team.
Brilliant, thankyou for your input grunta.
Grunta thats factually incorrect, if we lost say Daniel Alvaro we would easily cope, lose Norman its a completely different story.
For me is BEVAN, he is the X-factor player, last year Gordon broke down so many of our plays and stunted our try scoring.
Think we will see Frenchy playing a role very much like Tedesco does, all over the park and coming off our forwards. Hoping to see many long range tries.
im worried that teams will target him so much into errors that will dent his confidence somewhat. Problem will be for Bevan, everyone is going to compare him to Hayne.
2ndly- BEAU SCOTT, was no coincidence last year when he was out injured, we lost our way abit in defence and toughness around the ruck, he brings so much to a team, his aggression and line speed are wonderful. An injury free Beau will see us be a top 4 team.
Sorry ttgir, this blogs playing up, its putting my replies to grunta in the wrong place and not letting me delete them.
what an insult to me snake!!!!!
Haha sorry mate, absolutely not directed at you, blogs playing up.
all good bud, i know where u meant it to be, just wanted to hassle u
Gutherson - a lot of responsibility has been bestowed upon him with the five eighth role, goal kicking duties? and he isn't going to have the luxury this year of being an unknown quantity as he was last year when he stepped into the role late in the season. I'll be interested to see how he goes because I think much of our fate rests with him.
