For me it's a dead heat between Papali'i and Will Penisini

Im really looking forward to seeing how far Will develops next year - with so little 1st grade experience he did more than hold his own last night.... can see him getting a call up to join the blues squad as a development player of the future .

  • Papalii most improved player compared to when at warriors.

Penisini best rookie. Star of the future.

Mahoney became a representative level player.

Waqa Blake over the last month improved out of sight, he was a beast last night.

    • HZkF I'm glad you mentioned Waqa he's turned a corner and was very good last night again credit to him and coaches

    • Slugg he's proved me wrong... running strong... lots of upside... will take Sivo spot for sure

  • I'll give Papalii most improved

Then Blake he got better once he moved to the left.

Player of the year Papalii just over Reed who would of got it if he didn't go down.

    Rookie of the year Penisini.

Even though he lost his spot in the side I'd give a shout out to Opiacic he had a career best season and will be a valuable back up option.

  • Mahoney Dunster Papali'i Dylbags Penisini

Im really looking forward to Wirremu, even unfit and overweight he was great. Solid off season and be pushing Lane out.
Id like to see Wirremu Kaufusi Cyborg Carty as our bench

Matto starting 13  Stone has also improved, just needs some dance time. Could be retained on the bench to cover Mahoney.

  • I wouldnt punch Stone down the pecking order too far. He is a lock and a very good one. His defence is second to none.  EVERY team needs the scare factor in the defence line,  Radley, Sims, , Tino .   etc..... x

  • POY - Papalii

Most Improved - Papalii. Blake and Mahoney not far behind

ROTY - Penisini. Dunster not far behind

Most excited for next year - Perham if he is training for a centre spot. Dylan Brown to kick on (after admiting he was shit this year). Greig to learn of Paulo and RCG. Edge combination of Niukore and Papali'i. Having our spine play together for 90% of the regular season and prime for finals. Moses and Mahoney firmly establishing themselves as a top 3 player in their position.

  • Penisini this kid look the goods. Excited 👌👌

    Dylan in attack

    Moses in Command

    Mahoney scheming from dummy half

    Papalii smashing them.

xfactor player we buy or develop..... we need one that just dominates his position.

  • I think Penisini and Dunster are huge improvers by the Penrith game they were outstanding

  • I am blown away with Penisini and how he's played over the last 5 weeks. He has speed, a good tackling technique, can read the game and maturity beyond his years....and he's only 19. WOW!

We should extend his contract by another 5 years because this kid is already a star.
