Who is your favorite CURRENT Eels player and why?

Me?

Its Manu Mau. I think I love him not only because he is a great player but because I love the back story with him. I love that he has turned his life around but that he is still probably the scariest looking bloke ever to pull on an Eels jersey haha

    Clinton Gutherson. He had a rough start with Parra but worked hard and became one of our best players this season even after playing wing, centre, fullback, and five-eighth. Pretty amazing considering before joining Parra he only had 5 NRL games under his belt.

    French and gutho, both had breakout seasons. Always loved Jennings, I hope I can add brown and vave to that list in the future.
    Big fan of Alvaro but just love our whole team really.

    I like Taka and Kenny myself, but I feel like pretty much all the signings Brad has made, except for Foran and Watmough, have come from some sort of "not-so-ideal" past, except for some rookies I guess, but they've come here, bought into Brad's philosophy and made the Eels their family. Taka, Gower, Manu, Jennings, Semi (?) Normz, etc, they've grown together, advanced together, been in all the shit together, come out the other side together, now they know it's time to win the big prize. Together. So proud of all of them and Brad of course, and I'm really looking forward to 2017,year of the Unicorn,.. Whoops, EELS!

    i'll send some more love timmy mannah's way...for so long has had to carry our front row without quality support, and has maintained his positivity and professionalism and standards despite us going through our worst times on the field and his worst off it. a true class act.

    semi also NEEDS a mention because he has contributed well above his pay grade.

"TDS is still young, with plenty of improvement left in him. He could still play Flegg in 2026 ffs. And despite being two years younger than Ryley Smith, he has played nine more NRL games."
