Kidwell was an assistant which specialsed in defence, that was one of his main roles with us as far as i understand.
I think theres a good chance Jake Arthur will slot into the vacant assistant role.

But Snake if JA goes into that assistant role that means he cannot play, would BA weaken our squad for that?
How on earth could that weaken our squad having JA move into an anything role besides playing in the halves?
That would allow BA to sign or elevate promising lower grade players into the role of #14 covering more than just the half and 5/8 positions.
You can be a player coach. It's happened before.
